Valentine’s Day may get all the hype, but Galentine’s Day, February 13, is what moms are most excited about!

Galentine’s Day is all about celebrating the women in your life. The ones who are there for you through thick and thin. Your ride-or-die gal pals. This year, take time to tell your besties how much they mean to you.

In the words of Leslie Knope from Parks & Rec, “It’s

only the best day of the year.”

5 Ways to Celebrate Galentine’s Day

1. Schedule girl’s night

We all know this is easier said than done, but make girl’s night happen! Find a babysitter, make a reservation, or just crash at someone’s house and enjoy some quality girl time. You won’t regret it!

2. Deliver a fun surprise

Who doesn’t love a surprise delivery? Drop off an unexpected cup of coffee or a tasty treat to show your bestie how much she means to you.

3. Send a message

Words are so powerful! Take a minute to tell her how much she means to you and what a great mom she is. Write it in a card, a text message, or voice message. Remind her she’s amazing.

4. Celebrate friendship

Host a brunch with some of your closest friends. Tell your friends you want to celebrate your friendship and plan to take time to say what you appreciate about everyone.

5. Plan to do something together

Schedules are busy and kids and family commitments can easily take over your social life. Be intentional about setting aside time to do something special with your bestie. It could be a girls-only shopping trip, getting your nails done, or even a weekend away. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you make time to do it!

How are you celebrating Galentine’s Day?
