The Omaha Mom (OM) Team is growing, and we are currently looking for fresh, local voices who are passionate about our city and interested in sharing their stories! These are volunteer positions, but there are some really fun perks to make it all worthwhile. Here’s what you need to know:
Omaha Mom Writing Contributors
What you GIVE…
- One original post every other month that fit within the brand and mission of OM
- An active presence on social media
- A 12-month commitment, beginning March 2023
- A passion for moms, kids, and the city of Omaha!
- A reliable, positive, and fun personality!
What you GET…
- Your photo and bio on the Omaha Mom contributor page with links to your personal blog and/or social media handles if you choose to share them
- Access to the OM Contributors Facebook group and other internal communication
- New friendships and an amazing opportunity to do something great in our city!
What you should DO…
- Complete the form below in its entirety, including…
- Basic contact information
- The area of town you live in
- A little bit about your family
- Any social media handles you may have
- Links to ONE writing sample
- A few sentences about what makes your perspective unique
- And a brief explanation as to why you would like to be part of the OM Team
Not a writer, but want to be involved with a team of amazing women? We are also looking for moms who want to be involved in the community and be a part of our team who have a passion for social media.
Omaha Mom Ambassadors
What you GIVE…
- Provide at least one video per month to be used in reels or stories on the Omaha account (things to do around town, family adventures etc.)
- A 12-month commitment, beginning March 2023
- Represent the Omaha Mom brand with integrity and professionalism
- Work with the writing team to provide local content and resources for the Omaha community
What you GET…
- Your photo and bio on the Omaha Mom contributor page with links to your social media handles or website if you choose to share them
- Access to the OM Contributors Facebook group and other internal communications
- New friendships and an amazing opportunity to do something great in our city!
What you should DO…
- Fill out the form below in its entirety
- Have strong social media skills with experience in making reels and Instagram stories with an active presence on social media
- Fun and outgoing personality who enjoys working with a team
- Passionate about the city of Omaha and connecting with other families
Must apply by Monday, February 27, no exceptions. We only have a few spots and will have small teams so we will be limiting the timeline.
