Omaha Moms Blog:: Introducing Jordan

Omaha

I have lived my whole life living in and loving on Omaha. All my years of elementary through high school were in the Omaha Public School system then I made my way to college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am proud to say this is my city now and more than likely it will be my home for the rest of my life. The reason I stay here is because of just how great the people are. I have so many awesome friends that have turned into family members here, but most importantly there are still so many more people to meet. Omaha has a friendly vibe and affordable living that no other city can beat.

Mom

Quinn made me a mom back in 2014. She’s my spunky, little bestie with a whole bunch of energy. Over the last year, I have been lucky enough to spend all day with her at home. We have had a blast exploring together, sometimes it’s in the backyard for a scavenger hunt or an adventure at the zoo. Recently, she has become my little muse. We spend as much time as we possibly can creating something new either with makeup, markers or watercolors. Watching her grow has not only been entertaining but also so rewarding.

Did I mention I am a dog mom too? I have a Gerberian Shepsky named Penelope, but we call her Penny or Pen-el-lop-y. She loves to join us on family walks around the lush, green parks in our neighborhood. She is three years old and full of life. Our home is definitely not a quiet one, but my significant other and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Blog

I have been writing, designing and creating content to Coalesce Designs for the past couple of years. I am super excited to be a new contributor to the Omaha Moms Blog for 2019. On OMB, I plan on sparking some ideas for “mommy and me” DIY projects and I’ll plan on sharing as many easy recipes and funny stories as I can think of. My main passion is to bring people together, and the best way I have found to do that is with celebrations. I’ll be sure to sprinkle in party planning ideas and tips and tricks too.

Thanks for reading this far! I hope you and I will become great friends 🙂
