Looking for a family friendly restaurant in Omaha? We asked local moms where they take their families when they want to go out to eat in Omaha. Here are the best places to take your family when you don’t want to cook. What would you add to the list?

Family Friendly Restaurants in Omaha

Spaghetti Works

This mainstay is centrally located in the Old Market, making it a great place to take visitors. The kids menu includes spaghetti and meatballs and of course chicken strips. We recommend eating on the patio if the weather’s nice. We also like the old-school salad bar.

Spin! Pizza

Enjoy pizza, sandwiches, and salads at two Omaha locations (Papillon and Legacy Village). Kids meals include a scoop of gelato.

Lazlo’s Brewery and Grille

If you’re looking for something a little fancier to celebrate a special occasion but is still kid-friendly, head to Lazlo’s. The kids menu includes sirloin and shrimp and includes a scoop of ice cream.

Surfside Omaha

Here’s a restaurant with a view. This Omaha classic sits on the banks of the Missouri River, north of downtown. Head here in the summer and enjoy their large patio and live music. They are known for their catfish, chicken, and corn fritters!

Pizza and happy hour, need we say more? There are two locations in Omaha, one in Dundee and the other in West Omaha. The pizza dough is handmade and the pizzas are baked in a coal fire to bubbly, cheesy perfection. Sound too fancy for your kids? Order them a cheese pizza and call it good!

Upstream Brewing

Enjoy local brews and a great patio at this Omaha Brewery. The kids menu includes your basics like grilled cheese and chicken strips, but it also has fish n’ chips and pot roast.
