Lauritzen Gardens
Summer Adventure Camp

Lauritzen Gardens is a giant outdoor learning lab, where hands-on experiences with the natural world abound. Outdoor activities are supplemented with crafts, games, snacks, and in-class lessons.
Choose from a variety of full-day camps with fun themes that connect children to nature, build life skills, and foster an appreciation for the environment. Weekly camps run from May 29 through August 11. Before and after care options are available to purchase for an additional charge.

Goldfish Swim School’s unique Jump Start Clinics are swim classes specially designed for families looking to get their kids water-ready in a hurry. They’re a great way to introduce kids to the fundamentals of water safety, take full advantage of school vacations, get peace-of-mind before a water-centric vacation or even start the journey to an Olympic gold medal.
Swim Camp Can Quickly Improve Your Child’s Technique. Jump Start Clinics include four or five consecutive days of 30-minute swim lessons that focus on everything from teaching the fundamentals of water safety to fine-tuning stroke technique. These clinics are so effective, we guarantee you’ll see significant improvement in your child’s swimming skills in just four or five short days! Raise the curtain on your child’s talent! Whether your child is taking their first steps on the stage or has already landed a leading role, the performing arts classes at The Rose will provide them with theatrical opportunities unlike any other, all while having a lot of fun!
Young performers ages 3 to 18 can find their place in the spotlight with outstanding classes and camps designed to encourage a love of performing. Families can choose opportunities that rehearse for one week up to three weeks, ending in a full onstage performance complete with costumes, sets, lighting and sound. Camp topics include performing in a play or musical, dance intensives, private and group voice lessons and more.
Weeklong classes allow students to explore the worlds of popular culture such as Stranger Things, Pokemon, Phineas and Ferb, Zootopia, Wild Kratts, Descendants, Star Wars, Wicked, Hamilton and more. Camps are offered at The Rose Theater Downtown (2001 Farnam Street, Omaha) and at The Rose Studios for Youth Artists (12202 West Center Road, Omaha). HAPPY FEET | Ages 5 & 6
The perfect introductory camp to theatre, art and music! Dive into artistry and be introduced to the fundamentals of theatre by using your body, voice and imagination! This class will introduce stage and acting terminology; adaptation of literature to the stage through puppets and/or masks; characterization and scene work both scripted and improvised; and the fundamentals of music and design by interacting with instruments, costumes, lights, paint and other tactile objects used in creating music and art.

VR Esports Summer Camp

Details Each day we will focus on learning a new VR esports game. The games will be either team or individual. A competition will be held with prizes being awarded to winning player/team. You can request a teammate at signup using the note in the booking form or we will assemble teams based on age and attempt to make competitions as fair as possible. Our focus is to foster teamwork and cooperation, but not discourage kids if they don’t win. We will be taking breaks to watch matches. Snacks and water will be provided.
Kids will also get free time to play other games and explore some of our educational content. One day will have a VR art competition, where the kids will create 3D art using an application called Open Brush. Session Dates June 5th – June 9th and June 12th – June 16th Session Times 8:00am-12:00pm. Age Requirements Participants must be at least 8 years old to register for this camp.
