New Years Eve Activities In and Around Omaha

Celebrate the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 at a fun New Year’s Eve event in Omaha. Many take place during the day so kids (and parents) can go to bed before the clock strikes midnight. 

Bubbly New Year’s Eve Party 

Omaha Children’s Museum 500 S. 20th St., Omaha
9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Included with museum admission
Celebrate all day long at the Omaha Children’s Museum. Ring in the New Year with the Amazing Bubble Show, NYE crafts, characters, and bubble drops throughout the day. 

Noon Year’s Eve 

Durham Museum, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Celebrate the noon year in a handmade party hat. Enjoy the celebratory bubble wrap stomp and a spectacular balloon drop at noon in the Suzanne and Walter Scott Great Hall.
Tickets are limited and go on sale Dec. 1. 

New Year’s Eve Bingo Bash

December 29, 10 a.m. LaVista Public Library
Bring the whole family to create fun crafts to celebrate the New Year! Craft supplies will be available in the children’s area while supplies last.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular 

7 p.m.
View near CHI Health Event Center & TD Ameritrade Park (near 10th & Cass Street)
Enjoy the final event of the Holiday Lights Festival from the warmth of your car. 

Time Warp New Year’s Eve at Joslyn Castle

9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Enjoy dancing, drinks, a photo booth, and more. This is an adults-only event.
