But now. The aftermath.  The funky space of ending one year and all the anticipation and hopes for this new one that is already in full swing. The constant mention of resolutions and magazine titles staring at you in the check-out lines.

Yes, you read that right, this is going to be a post about Harry Potter.  No matter if you’re a fan or not, there is a fierce following that includes a generation of mothers and fathers who are now sharing the enchanting world of Harry Potter with their children.

I think in some long lost language, soup translated to a fuzzy blanket, comfort, and mmm! If you can’t tell, I love soup.

Faced with a snow day and it’s too cold and icky to actually have your children play outside? What’s a mama to do after watching all the princess videos and Dinosaur Train episodes?

I have to tell you about the most amazing invention ever in the history of anything…ONLINE GROCERY SHOPPING. The wheel is great, TV is cool…but being able to buy an entire supply of groceries and not even stepping foot into the grocery store?!?!

When we found out I was pregnant, we laughed.  We realized we'd have 3 kids under 2 years old! Nothing about growing our family has gone as we'd planned so of course as we were making plans to wait to add to our bunch, God laughed.

Omaha has played a role in everything good in my life right now. About 12 years ago, I drove across state lines.  The last of which greeted me with a sign that read, “Nebraska - The Good Life.”

There are many reasons why we need diverse books. Diverse books empower, support, normalize, and most importantly give a platform for everyone’s stories to be told.

Now that we have 3 kids, here’s my go-to Cabin Fever list of ideas for those dreary and dark winter days.
