Ghouls & Glow at the Omaha Zoo

October 13-18, 20-25, 27-29 | Ghouls & GlowThe Omaha Zoo
Come out for a zero fright and all delight event is an illuminated spectacle for all ages.

4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Don’t miss trick or treating, special characters, face painting, balloon twisters, gift card giveaways, a flash mob, and a free concert by High Heel Band.

October 14, 21, 28 | Trick or Treat DaysOmaha Children’s Museum
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wear your costumes and collect candy at stations throughout the museum.

October 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 | Trunk or Treat in the Trees, Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari 16406 N 292nd St Ashland, NE
Celebrate Halloween with dinner and a hayrack ride around Pelican Wetlands and Crane Meadows. Play tree-themed games, roast marshmallows, and experience the great outdoors.

Pumpkin crafts, cider, hot chocolate and indoor s’mores for all ages.

This free event includes trick-or-treating, activity stations, and a family-friendly movie on the videoboard.

A Halloween Fall Dance with games and costume party.

October 24 | Great Hall-oween, The Durham Museum
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wear costumes and get sweets from historical characters and spooktacular displays located throughout the museum. Try your hand at ghostly games and creepy crafts in the Swanson “Ghoulery.” Check out the spooky — but not scary— Haunted Train, and “crawl” your way through the Cobweb Caboose!

October 25 | Spooky Tales for Tots, The Durham Museum
10:30 a.m.
Celebrate Halloween with a reading of a Halloween story followed by a purrfectly themed-craft.

October 26 | Spectra’s 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, 10820 Harney St, Omaha
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Wear your costumes to trick or treat, paint pumpkins, and vote for your favorite themed trunk at this inclusive family event.

October 27, 28, 29 | Trick or Treat at Vala’s
Dress up in family-friendly costumes and haunt the farm collecting candy along the way. There’s even a Candy Canon that shoots candy into the air!

October 28, 29 | Hallo-Weekend, The Durham Museum
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kids 12 and under get in free; costumes are encouraged! Enjoy goodie bags (while supplies last), the Haunted Train, Cobweb Caboose and Halloween games on The Platform.

October 29 | Ghoulish Garden Adventure, Lauritzen Gardens
12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Explore a variety of activity stations throughout the garden. Learn about the mysteries of nature, get up close and personal with the amazing creatures that make the fall so festive, and make your very own crafts to take home.

October 29 | Flight of Fright, Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum, Ashland, NE

Launch your Halloween plans to the next level at this exciting event. Kids 12 and under are free.
