As Moms we work hard, we play hard and (who are we kidding) we buy hard! How many times have you not really needed something until you browsed the good ole buy/sell/trade (bst) universe or Amazon's black hole of Prime Day Deals?!

Let's first begin with one fact: I am a teacher. When the kids go back to school, I go back to school. There's no more sleeping in, being lazy, long summer days at pools or zoos or whatever we feel like doing when we feel like doing it. It's back to the grind for all of us. So how do you balance all of this?

I am sending my oldest off to kindergarten. Just typing that fills me with emotion. I have been on the other side of this. I have watched kids (and parents) have the first day jitters.

Sometimes being a mom means you lose some time to yourself. We have all seen the funny memes on social media that portray a mom and her lack of time alone.

Of course your child is a wonderful artist. She constantly gifts you with pieces deemed "too precious to toss". Until one day you look around and your home is inundated by “art” on everything from post-it notes to fringed notebook paper. What's a mama to do?

It amazes me that one five letter word like aging can conjure up so many thoughts and emotions. Each and every one of us will have a different picture in our minds when we hear the word aging.

My breastfeeding experience with all three of my children reminds me of fine dining: awkward at first, but extremely rewarding.

Oh the joy of potty training – one that makes me cringe now and want to go running for the hills! My oldest was an absolute piece of cake.
