Arbor Day

Head to Nebraska City April 26-28 to celebrate trees of all kinds! The festivities include a parade, kid activities, and more.

Ice Age Adventure at the Lee Simons Wildlife Safari Park

Don’t miss the newest adventure coming to Lee Simons Wildlife Safari Park opening May 3. Drive through the park and see prehistoric animals from the Ice Age come to life in this interactive drive-thru experience.

Omaha Farmers Market

You know it’s officially spring with the farmers market is open! Check it out all summer long from May 4 until October 13. On Saturdays in the Old Market and Sundays in Aksarben Village. Enjoy fresh local produce, baked goods, handmade products, and entertainment.

Junkstock

It’s back and it’s better than ever! Don’t miss Junkstock in Waterloo, Nebraska, May 3-5 and 10-12. This one-of-a-kind festival features vintage finds, antiques, live entertainment, and more! 

Renaissance Fest

Step back in time at the annual Renaissance Fest of Nebraska. Head to Bellevue Farms in Papillion May 4, 5, 11, 12,18, and 19 for all the festivities. 

Cinco de Mayo Festival

This iconic festival is back this year on May 10. Bring the whole family to experience the best of Latin Culture including food, music, and entertainment. 

Springfest Art & Craft Fair

Come see more than 60 local artists at Rockbrook Village on May 18. Enjoy live music, kids activities, food, and more. 

Turner Park Night Market

This family (and pet) friendly event starts May 31 and continues on the last Friday of the month through August. Head to Turner Park at Midtown Crossing for food, fun, music, and more.
