Tree Lighting in Omaha

November 14 | Tree of Lights Family Festival, 90th and Dodge
5 p.m.
Enjoy free food, family-fun activities, and pictures with Santa. There will be a live musical performance and the lighting of the 75-foot-tall LED-enhanced Christmas tree.

Nov 22 | Winterfest, Bayliss Park, Council Bluffs
6 pm to 8 pm
Free activities include: Lighting Ceremony (takes place promptly at 6 p.m.); Santa’s Workshop featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus; Reindeer, and more!

Nov 24 | Lights of Aksarben Tree Lighting, Stinson Park, Aksarben Village
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Nov 27 | Tree Lighting Ceremony, Shadow Lake Towne Center
6 p.m.
Don’t miss the annual tree lighting and holiday parade followed by fireworks.

Nov 29 | Tree Lighting Ceremony, Union Station
4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This event returns in person this year! Enjoy live music from Michael Walker, cookie decorating, scavenger hunt, and holiday crafts, plus Santa himself! Everything leads up to the countdown to lighting the region’s largest indoor Christmas tree. Advanced registration encouraged. 

Nov 29 | Lights of Aksarben, Stinson Park
Experience the holiday magic as we transform Aksarben Village into a Whoville-inspired winter wonderland! This is Omaha’s largest lighted tree.

Nov 30 | Holiday Lights Lighting Ceremony, Gene Leahy Mall
6 pm
Kick off the city’s holiday celebrations downtown. 

Nov 30 | Winter WonderlandDowntown Papillion
4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Save the date for when Mayor David Black flips the switch to light Papillion. Enjoy hot chocolate, candy canes, pancakes, entertainment, and free carriage rides.

Dec 1 | Santa’s Sleigh Ride and Tree Lighting Celebration, 8305 Park View Blvd, La Vista
1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Come to Central Park to see the lights, enjoy a sing-along, and take a group selfie with Santa.
