Moms-to-be appreciate the specialized care offered at our Women’s Health clinics. Our compassionate staff includes board-certified Ob-Gyns and Maternal Fetal Medicine providers and certified Midwives. If you envision laboring naturally with a certified nurse midwife in a homelike environment, then our Birth Center at Immanuel is for you. Here, non-pharmacologic methods of pain relief include massage, aromatherapy, position changes, acupressure, hydrotherapy, water birth and more.

If you prefer a more traditional birth experience in a full-service hospital, you’ll feel right at home at one of four Maternity Centers conveniently located in the Omaha metro. Each has wireless monitoring for moving around during labor and pain management options of laboring in a deep soaking tub, nitrous oxide and epidurals.

Pelvic Wellness is a speciality physical therapy clinic, focused on the treatment of women throughout the childbearing years. Owner and Board Certified Pelvic Floor Therapist, Dr. Nicole Niu, has extensive training in treatment specific to women during preconception, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. At Pelvic Wellness we help moms prepare for labor and delivery through 1-on-1 and small group birth prep classes. The focus of these sessions is on empowering women as they enter labor and delivery by providing tangible techniques to assist with a smooth progression of labor and minimize the effects of delivery on the pelvic floor. We also treat women during and after pregnancy for pain related to the low back, hip, SI joint, or pelvis, as well as eliminate symptoms caused by pregnancy such as urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction. We aid women in returning to their previous level of activity and exercise in a safe and effective way, minimizing the symptoms that many women “just deal with” after pregnancy.
