5 Things to do in Omaha this Fall
1. Visit the newly re-opened Joslyn Museum
We’re counting down the days until the Joslyn Museum reopens! After several years of renovations, it will once again be open to the public September 10. Bonus: Admission is FREE!
2. Pick a pumpkin (or apples)
Visiting a pumpkin patch or apple orchard is a quintessential fall activity. Spend an afternoon playing at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch or apple picking at Ditmar’s Orchard in Council Bluffs, IA, or Nelson Produce Farm in Valley, NE. Test your navigation skills in a corn maze!
3. Go to a festival
Put on a flannel and enjoy a fall festival. There’s just something magical about strolling through a local festival with a warm drink on a crisp afternoon.
4. Take a hike
Fall is a great time to get outside and enjoy nature. We recommend the trails at Fontenelle Forest or Neale Woods. Unplug and take in the beautiful fall colors.
5. Try something new!
Omaha is growing and that means there are new businesses opening all the time! Check out some of the things we’re excited to have in Omaha, including a LEGO store, a new Costco, and a golf simulator.
